The Network that Built the Ecosystem

Our primary advantage is a platform cultivated well before the firm was formally established.

In 2014, John Temte and Jack Selby responded to Wyoming Governor Matt Mead’s call to co-found the Jackson Hole Technology Partnership (JHTP) and launch the annual Wyoming Global Technology Summit (WGTS). Over 12 years and more than a dozen summits, the WGTS has brought together thousands of founders, investors, policymakers, and industry leaders in one of the most curated technology gatherings in the country.

This established network — including strong relationships with entrepreneurs, operators, and institutional partners — serves as the foundation for WYO VC’s sourcing and support capabilities.

Team & Experience

WYO VC is led by John Temte (Founder & Managing General Partner) and Josh Grubaugh (Co-Founder & General Partner), with Jack Selby.

The team brings hands-on experience as operators, founders, and investors, combined with institutional investment backgrounds and deep regional connectivity. We have built this ecosystem from the ground up and understand the challenges entrepreneurs face.
